Lukas Kawka is a Partner, lawyer and tax adviser in the Tax service line at our Berlin office. He has many years of expertise in providing tax advice to national and multinational companies. He advises clients primarily in national and international corporate tax law and assists them with ongoing tax advice as well as restructuring, with a particular focus on technology and young, growing companies. Before joining Grant Thornton, Lukas Kawka worked in the tax department of an international law firm, where he advised companies and groups of companies on the tax aspects of international projects and transactions. He regularly publishes on corporate and trade tax law issues as well as on international tax law. He is also involved as a mentor for start-ups on tax issues in several accelerator programmes.
