Jan Hilper became Manager in Debt Advisory at Grant Thornton in 2022. Before joining Grant Thornton, Jan Hilper worked several years in the credit department for corporate clients and the acquisition financing at a German Bank. He has extensive knowledge in corporate financing including acquisition financing, structuring, business and credit analysis as well as credit assessment and rating. In his role as a Portfolio Manager Acquisition Finance, Jan Hilper was involved in a large number of leveraged buyout transactions and managed an international portfolio and assisted companies as a Banker in all stages of corporate development, including distressed debt/ restructuring.
