Julia Mika

Julia Mika is a Senior Manager in the Tax practice at the Duesseldorf office, specialising in payroll tax advisory services.

She has many years of experience in national and international employee taxation and advises companies of various sizes and across different industries on a wide range of payroll tax matters.

In addition to her core area of expertise, she has extensive experience in supporting companies and private individuals with cross-border employment situations and their corresponding national and international income tax and payroll tax implications.

Fields of expertise

• Ad hoc advice on various payroll tax matters
• Support and assistance in payroll tax audits and social security audits
• Preparation of correction letters in accordance with Section 153 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) and Section 41c of the German Income Tax Act (EStG)
• Advisory support for international assignments of employees, applying German domestic tax law and applicable double taxation treaties
