Hans-Georg Welz

Hans-Georg Welz is a partner in the One ESG team and has more than 25 years of professional experience. After many years as an auditor of (consolidated) financial statements for medium-sized and listed companies, he was Head of Finance at a complex social enterprise for several years. Since February 2019, his focus has been on auditing sustainability information. Furthermore, he supports clients in preparing for future reporting in accordance with the CSRD as well as in the implementation of ESG reporting processes and concepts. He is an author and speaker on non-financial reporting topics.

• Audit of (group) financial statements HGB/IFRS
• Assurance on sustainability reports, disclosures pursuant to Art. 8 of the EU Taxonomy Regulation and transition plans in accordance with ISAE 3000 and ISSA 5000 with limited and reasonable assurance
• Audit of allocation reports on green bonds and reports on target achievement for sustainability-linked loans
• Audit of GHG statements in accordance with the GHG Protocol
• Support in the implementation of ESG reporting processes, including CSRD and EU Taxonomy Regulation
