Grant Thornton advises Aareon on the acquisition of easimo

The Aareon Group, a provider of software solutions for the real estate industry, has acquired easimo GmbH, a property technology company. With this acquisition, Aareon is expanding its property management portfolio, including its own AI technology KIAAN, to include easimo’s cloud solution. This step enables Aareon to integrate AI more efficiently into the daily operations of residential and owners’ association management and further strengthens its role in driving technological innovation in the industry.
An interdisciplinary team from Grant Thornton Germany, led by Alex Refec (Financial Advisory) and Axel Wagner (Tax), provided advice on the transaction. The services provided included financial and tax due diligence as well as advice on negotiation of the sale and purchase agreement in the areas of finance and tax.
