Stephanie Becker-Bösch works as counsel in the public sector advisory team in the Advisory service line at Grant Thornton. With many years of experience as a lawyer, manager and local politician, she makes a decisive contribution to the success of advisory projects in the public sector. 

Stephanie Becker-Bösch studied law at Justus Liebig University Giessen, where she passed the first state examination in 1997. After her legal traineeship, she passed her second state examination in 1999 and began working in 2000 as a self-employed lawyer with her own practice. She specialised in family and inheritance law and qualified as a specialist lawyer in 2003 and 2009.

She began her career in the public sector in 2016 as the full-time deputy administrator [Kreisbeigeordnete] for the Wetterau district before becoming the deputy administrator responsible for youth and social services, Jobcenter, health, legal affairs and public order from 2018 to 2024. In this role she was responsible for around 910 staff and a budget of approx. 340 million euros.
