Anna Günzel - Lawyer

Anna Günzel joined the IT/IP, data privacy and digital innovation team at Grant Thornton Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in August 2025. She advises on the entire field of IT law matters. Her focus areas include data protection law, IT and intellectual property law as well as the development of digital business models.

Anna Günzel studied law at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and completed a master's degree in information technology and law. She spent her traineeship in the Cologne Higher Regional Court district. During her studies, she gained practical experience working in the legal department of a software company as well as a research assistant in IT, IP, and data protection law at a medium-sized auditing and consulting firm.
