The engagement:
The client was Europe’s leading regional coordination centre (RCC) for electricity transmission system operators.
The job:
Adapting cybersecurity to match the specifications of the European umbrella organisation.
The approach:
Hold audit preparation workshops and determine the action to be taken. Coordinate the action with all the service providers involved. Plan and perform an internal ISMS audit (ISO 27001) – review and evaluate.
The result:
Audit reports were compiled that subsequently served as primary evidence for compliance with the umbrella organisation’s specifications.

Fibre optic roll-out cooperation: implementation & consulting

The engagement:
The client was a local supply public company.
The job:
Implement cooperation with an interregional telecommunications company to roll out fibre optic cable across the entire city. The fibre optic network to be set up was to be open access.
The approach:
Develop a negotiation strategy, draft contracts, economic valuation, private investor test, adapt processes and assist with financing to ensure eligibility in terms of state aid.
The result:
The cooperation and financing were successfully completed, the fibre optic network was rolled out in a legal and economically sustainable way, roll-out was on-going with high customer demand thanks to a wide range of open access offerings.

Assisting a telecommunications provider with implementing Pillar Two

The engagement:
The client was an international infrastructure company in the telecommunications sector.
The job:
Tax advisory services on the effects of global minimum tax on the group, including simulations and support services as part of the group audit.
The approach:
Impact analysis & safe harbour tests, thorough analysis of complex issues to calculate Pillar Two in full, incl. audit of its effects on (deferred) tax accounts.
The result:
The requirements of Pillar Two were successfully integrated into the group reporting and events affecting the effective tax rate were simulated for the purposes of Pillar Two.
