Akshay Deshraj is a Corporate Finance and Advisory Services professional and heads the Indo-German corridor at Grant Thornton Germany.
He has extensive corporate finance and strategy experience, as a professional services advisor, internal business manager and entrepreneur. He has been part of the Grant Thornton network for several year since 2005, in India, Germany and USA as an advisory services professional. He also held the position of International Business Centre Director for Grant Thornton India representing the Indian firm within the global network.
Mr. Deshraj is an Indian chartered accountant and holds a honours degree in economics. He specializes is supporting due diligence and corporate finance engagements, with a focus on cross border and international transactions. He is also actively engaged in servicing and supporting delivery to the Indo-German relationships of the firm.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton Germany, for over three years, he was Vice President at the German operations of a large Indian Automobile component manufacturing Group with a multinational presence, focusing on Strategy and Finance.
