Birgit Zimmermann-Prestin is a Senior Manager in VAT consulting at the Munich office. She has over 20 years of experience and has worked as an indirect tax manager for Germany and Austria at a large international US company as well as at a major Big Four firm, where she was responsible for professional assistance and consulting for domestic and international companies of all sizes. She has extensive project experience in analysing and optimising VAT related business processes and in implementing tax CMS. She particularly focuses on VAT compliance and reviews to prevent clients from unwanted tax exposure and to safeguard risk management from the director’s perspective. She is well connected in the retail & consumer, automotive, manufacturing & engineering sectors.
