Grant Thornton advises DaVinci Energy

Düsseldorf/Berlin, 10 February 2026

DaVinci Energy Investments and Consultancy (DaVinci Energy), a consulting firm and project developer for renewable energies based in Turkey, has acquired 100 percent of the shares in the wind park operator EE Ravi GmbH & Co. KG (EE Ravi) in the onshore wind park in Henglarn, North Rhine-Westphalia, from European Energy A/S (European Energy). This entry into Germany is part of DaVinci Energy’s growth strategy in Europe. 

An interdisciplinary team from Grant Thornton Germany led by the partners Philip Cossmann (Financial Services) and Gregor Weimer (Tax) supported DaVinci Energy with the transaction. The services provided included Financial and Tax due diligence, structuring and share purchase agreement advice for the transaction.    

DaVinci Energy Investments and Consultancy, established in 2020 and based in Ankara, Turkey, is a developer that provides consulting services for investments in renewable energies. With subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Germany and Hungary, the company implements its investments in renewable energies in Europe. 

European Energy A/S, based in Søborg, Denmark, is one of Europe’s largest developers of wind and solar parks. European Energy currently operates more than 160 onshore wind turbines in Germany.
