Grant Thornton advises the shareholders of Vehiclevo

Grant Thornton has advised the shareholders of Vehiclevo GmbH (Vehiclevo) on the sale to Visteon Corporation (Visteon), a NASDAQ-listed global leader in Automotive Cockpit Electronics. Vehiclevo specialises in the development of intelligent automotive software architectures for complex Electronic Control Units (ECUs).   

The acquisition of Vehiclevo strengthens Visteon's expanding software and engineering services capabilities, especially in the area of functional safety development engineering. Vehiclevo's specialised software engineering capabilities complement Visteon's existing portfolio and enhance the capability stack to align with growing technology needs of software-defined vehicles (SDV), accelerating Visteon’s evolution to strategic software and engineering partner in the SDV area.

The shareholders of Vehiclevo were advised by an interdisciplinary M&A team from Grant Thornton Germany across all phases of the transaction. Led by Partners Hanno Hepke (Advisory/M&A), Dr. Mathias Reif (Legal), and Dr. Stefan Hahn (Tax), the team supported the process from the initial negotiation stages through comprehensive due diligence and final contract negotiations to a successful closing, delivering seamlessly integrated expertise across Advisory, Legal, and Tax.
