Kenan Karakas joined Grant Thornton in 2023 as a treasury manager in debt advisory & treasury services. Before joining Grant Thornton, Kenan Karakas worked as group treasury manager at one of the largest department store groups in Germany and as a treasurer and chief accountant for one of the largest mail service providers in Germany. He started his career at one of the Big Four audit firms in accounting and IT as SAP Inhouse Consultant. He has extensive knowledge in treasury and cash management, covering the selection and implementation of treasury management and electronic banking systems, cash pool strategies, liquidity planning, working capital management and hedging strategies. In addition, Kenan Karakas has in-depth knowledge of accounting, receivables management, and key user skills in SAP R/3 and SAP Business ByDesign.
