Dr Predrag Maksimovic

Dr Predrag Maksimovic is a Partner in the Düsseldorf office, specialising in advising on complex national and international M&A and private equity transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. He has extensive experience across various industries and sectors, with a particular focus on the banking and financial services sector. His clients include both strategic and financial investors as well as national and international banks, companies, and corporations. 

Dr Maksimovic brings more than 20 years of recognised expertise in corporate law and in advising on complex M&A transactions. Most recently, he served as a partner in corporate law and M&A at a leading international law firm, where he advised on numerous domestic and cross-border transactions.

Since 2021, Dr. Maksimovic has been regularly ranked by Leaders League as one of Germany’s leading M&A lawyers, most recently for 2026, with recommendations in the areas of large-cap and mid-cap transactions. He is also continuously recognised as one of the leading experts in the field of mergers & acquisitions in “The Best Lawyers in Germany” ranking published by Best Lawyers and Handelsblatt.
