Dr Gregor Weimer

Dr Gregor Weimer is a lawyer, tax adviser, German Public Auditor as well as a specialised tax lawyer and works as a partner in the Tax department in Berlin. He has many years of experience in providing legal and tax advice to corporate groups and medium-sized companies in various industries, advising them not only on day-to-day tax challenges but also on restructuring, transactions, and cooperation models. 

As a member of the energy & natural resources industry group, Dr Gregor Weimer primarily advises private and public companies in the energy sector as well as infrastructure companies (e.g. (municipal) utility companies, (energy-intensive) industrial companies, public sector companies and their affiliated companies). He regularly gives lectures and publishes articles on legal and tax issues, often with reference to energy and infrastructure topics. Before joining Grant Thornton, Dr Gregor Weimer worked for a Big Four company, a leading law firm for the energy and infrastructure sector and a Next Ten company.
